Position Purpose
Deliver educational curriculum and lesson knowledge to students in a classroom setting.

Essential Duties   
1) Provide in-class instruction/lecture and hands-on training as required by course content in two and four hour sessions every five weeks.
2) Substitute teach approved classes every five weeks across all shifts (if applicable) as requested by Leads.    
3) Prepare for classroom lecture and hands-on training activities daily.
4) Complete administrative work required per class including grading, curriculum support, hosting study groups, tutoring students and observing classes.
5) Mentor new instructors every five weeks as needed.  Perform follow-up meetings and report submissions to Leads weekly. 
6) Attend department, campus, and company meetings as requested by Leads.
7) Attend ABK and graduation events.
8) Maintain confidentiality of all work information.

Provide healing touch through the instruction of therapeutic massage!  IBMC is seeking licensed massage therapy instructors who can share expert experience in the classroom with massage therapy students.  Qualified candidates will have graduated from an accredited program of 500 hours or more and have 3-5 years of clinical hands-on experience.  A variety of modalities including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point and reflexology are desired.

Essential Duties
1) Contact prospective employers by telephone and/or face-to-face meetings to engage their participation as an extern site.
2) Continually engage employer sites to ensure extern site participation.
3) Thirteen weeks prior to externship start; obtain extern information and begin matching process.
4) Continually prepare students for externship by reviewing journal completion, paperwork/forms, grading criteria, conduct, reporting process, and employer expectations.
5) Provide administrative support for Career Services
6) Document all activities in CampusVue
7) Participate as guest speaker in selected classes as needed.
8) Meet daily with Placement Coordinator to discuss strategies for placement, challenges with specific students and share general information related to student success.
9) Conduct externship meetings.
10) Conduct student one-on-one meetings to outline goals, brainstorm ideas, connect & build relationships with students
11) Support social media outreach between Career Services Department and Grad/Student body.
12) Assist in implementing programs that foster student retention and successful employment rates.
