2)Develop and cultivate strategic relationships with employers.
3)Thirteen weeks prior to externship start; obtain student extern information and begin meeting preparation.
4)Conduct externship meetings ten weeks prior to externship start date.
5)Prepare students for externship by reviewing journal completion, paperwork/forms, grading criteria, conduct, reporting process, and employer expectations.
