IBMC is looking for instructors to teach in the Allied Health Medical Assisting program. Phlebotomy, Radiography and clinical skills, including proficiency in vital signs, are strongly desired.
Position Purpose
Deliver educational curriculum and lesson knowledge to students in a classroom setting.
Essential Duties
1) Provide in-class instruction/lecture and hands-on training as required by course content in two and four hour sessions every five weeks.
2) Substitute teach approved classes every five weeks across all shifts (if applicable) as requested by Leads.
3) Prepare for classroom lecture and hands-on training activities daily.
4) Complete administrative work required per class including grading, curriculum support, hosting study groups, tutoring students and observing classes.
5) Mentor new instructors every five weeks as needed. Perform follow-up meetings and report submissions to Leads weekly.
6) Attend department, campus, and company meetings as requested by Leads.
7) Attend ABK and graduation events.
8) Maintain confidentiality of all work information.
