The Institute of Business and Medical Careers is pleased to announce it’s partnership with Palmer Properties in the purchase of the 3842 Mason Street location, as the future site of the IBMC main campus.

The new 22,000 sq ft. location will allow for the expansion of the Fort Collins campus, increasing its classroom capacity and features with up-to- date technologies and an easier transition for the students to go from class to class. Currently, IBMC is housed in two leased spaces with a total of 17,000 square feet, at 1609 Oakridge Drive. The new campus renovations and subsequent move will be complete by Labor Day.

Transfort Route #1 has several stops near the new IBMC location, continuing to serve the transportation needs of students who use this service at http://www.ci.fort-collins.co.us/file-gateway.

The new location will benefit IBMC students as the campus will be located on the Mason Street Mass Transit Corridor http://www.fcgov.org/mason/ aiding future students in their commute to and from school.

IBMC will be an integral part of the Mason Street expansion http://www.fcgov.com/business/pdf/mason-report.pdf .  The slated economic growth and new zoning changes of this five mile corridor, will allow for IBMC to be in close proximity of its allied employers who hire externs and graduates from the college.   This will allow for IBMC’s Career Services Department to continue placing its graduates in positions with local employers at a high rate due to the mass transit and business growth along the corridor.
