Car Wash to Aid Windsor Tornado Victims

IBMC students and staff were involved in last weekend's “Bubbles for Troubles”… a fund raiser to aid the victims of the Windsor tornado. 

 

Dale Meyer, the director of the Greeley IBMC Campus, presented the Centennial Chapter of the American Red Cross in Fort Collins with a check for $585.46 on Tuesday June 17th. The Centennial Chapter of the Red Cross is handling the Windsor disaster.

 

This past Saturday June 14th, IBMC in partnership with The Wash in Greeley, held a car wash/dry fund raiser for the Tornado Victims fund. 122 cars passed through the wash during the fund raiser which was held from 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

 

Dennis Seilbach the owner of “The Wash” donated his car wash and a financial gift of $150.00 to the cause. Silver Mine Subs at the Greeley Market Square donated sandwiches to the volunteers. The volunteers involved in this fund raiser were:

Teresa Chandler, Darla McNaney, Alicia Davis, Adriana Valverde, Ross Meyer,

Crystal Ortega, Brandon Lesley.
