The Institute of Business and Medical Careers (IBMC) congratulates Student Lori A. Daniel who has been selected to receive the 2008 Colorado Private School Association’s (CPSA) “Meritorious Recognition Award” in the Category of “Allied Health Specialist – Administrative Medical. The best and brightest students are selected via an extraordinarily competitive selection process since the students are entered based on achievement by their respective schools.

Lori A. Daniel was nominated by her IBMC instructor Kathy Carr who noted that: “Lori is a an exceptional non-traditional student who has held a 4.0gpa since beginning school and is a member of the ABK Honor Society, yet she finds the time to volunteer to assist other students. Her experience working as a catastrophe insurance adjuster through Reid, Jones, McRorie & Williams of Charlotte North Carolina, gives her the perfect background to move into the Medical Billing and Coding field which she is studying”.

The CPSA Review Committee focuses on three areas:  Commitment, Performance, and Leadership/Professionalism.

Lori A. Daniel is to receive the award at the Colorado Private School Association awards ceremony which will be held at The Denver Newspaper Agency at 9:00 am on September 18, 2008. The Denver Post will photograph and publish an article commending these scholastic achievers.
