IBMC Medical Billing & Coding Students Pass CMBS Exam

The Institute of Business and Medical Careers (IBMC) would like to recognize its Medical Billing and Coding Students who sat for, and successfully passed their CMBS Exam on May 22nd, 2009. The exam was proctored by a graduate of the DAH/MBC program and who is in good standing with MAB (Medical Association of Billers).

Students, who have passed the exam are certified Medical Billing and Coding Specialists and are recognized as professionals in their field. The Exam consists of 100 in-depth questions in the following areas: Medical Office Insurance, Medical Terminology, ICD Coding, CPT Coding, Insurance Carriers, Proper Coding of Medicare Claims, Completing a HCFA-1500 and Claim Resolution.

The IBMC Students who passed the CMBS May 22nd, 2009 Exam are:

Anne Johnson, Sarah Kenton, Tiffany Renaud, Patricia Rodrigurez, Martha Temple
and Dawn Webster
