
The Institute of Business and Medical Careers, (IBMC) a Proud Sponsor and Participant of the Relay For Life® – Northern Colorado
This year marks the 25th Anniversary Celebration of the Relay For Life®, a milestone of which IBMC was a proud participant and contributor.
The Northern Colorado Relay For Life® was held on July 17th at Eastman Park in Windsor CO. The event began on Friday night the 17th at 6 p.m. and continued until 8 a.m. Saturday morning the 18th.
Team IBMC was a proud sponsor and participant along with 35 teams/495 participants who raised a total of $63,777.07 beating the $50,000 goal.
To kick-off the Relay For Life® drive, IBMC held an in-school fundraiser with employees and students, and donated a total of $925 in addition to donating a massage gift basket.
Team IBMC put in a tremendous effort walking from 7 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. for a total of 11 hours to help raise funds for the American Cancer Society. The Relay For Life® “Team IBMC” participants were: Michelle Blomfelt the team captain, Melissa Whitten, Janet Volk, Diana Gunderson, Cheryl Chumley, Kathy Carr and Sherri McKinney – who raised the most funds at $498.
Several of the Team IBMC’s family members and children assisted and walked i.e.: Christopher Jabs, Bryce Jabs, Adam Jabs, Andy Blomfelt and Jack Blomfelt. Additionally, $10 was raised for the American Cancer Society with the children’s IBMC lemonade stand at the event.
