The primary function of the Regional Director of Career Services is to support and lead the Campus Career Service Departments to achieve acceptable placement rates. The RDCS will provide assistance in hiring, training, motivating and coaching the Career Service Departments for all schools in the Region. The RDCS will model and provide positive customer service training to all staff and students according to IBMC policy and procedures. The position is responsible for ensuring prompt, and effective student job search/placement servicing by each campus. Candidates must have at least 5 years management experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
· Manage and monitor all career service initiatives and activities at each campus in the Region.
· Assist in the development and implementation of training activities for the Career Service Department staff.
· Provide support and guidance to facilitate the achievement of placement goals and objectives for individual campuses and the Region.
· Direct the Career Service Departments in all aspects of obtaining and placing students in externship sites.
· Visit high performing schools to identify and share best practices throughout Career Services.
· Support campuses to ensure full compliance with all IBMC, State, Federal and Accreditation requirements.
· Monitor the current progress of each campus towards the annual ACICS required placement percentages and change procedures and strategies as needed to achieve the annual goals.
· Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all reports and paperwork submitted by the campus.
· Provide Regional data for forecasting current trends for monthly, quarterly, or annual reports.
· Provide mentoring and coaching as needed to all Career Service personnel within the Region.
· In conjunction with the Campus Director, participate in the annual review process for all Career Service Department personnel.
· Partner with the President of IBMC and Campus Directors regarding the structure and hiring needs of each campus.
· Develop employer relationships to create optimal placement opportunities for graduates.
