Five years of Paralegal experience, on top of twelve years in the investigative field, gives Pamela Buffington an edge in her newly appointed adjunct faculty position in the School of Paralegal Studies at IBMC in Longmont, CO, 2315 N. Main St.
As an adjunct instructor, Buffington will assist adult learners who are seeking entry-level opportunities with career training in the Paralegal Certificate and Degree programs.
The IBMC Paralegal Program allows paralegal students to combine excellent critical thinking, researching, and writing skills in the classroom and during their externship. In addition to learning substance of the law, students are encouraged to analyze the reasons and policies underlying its development. The classroom teachings foster student and graduate success in government, business, and law office positions.
Buffington has a B.A. in Political Science from Colorado State University (1982), a Paralegal Certificate from the Denver Paralegal Institute (1983), and a Board Certification in Criminal Defense Investigation from the Criminal Defense Investigator Training Council (2001).
The Institute of Business and Medical Careers offers Certificate, Diploma and Associate of Occupational Studies Degrees in Business, Healthcare, Massage Therapy and Legal Studies, with Colorado campuses in Longmont,Fort Collins, and Greeley, and a Wyoming campus in Cheyenne.
